Hey Team,
With only a week until the transition from Inc to Operator ownership there a few announcements I wanted to share: Onboarding paperwork, Insurance info, Policy Items, Sunday Meeting.
First, you have not yet applied and scheduled an interview but you desire to continue working here at Chick-fil-A please use this link (www.leadatcfa.com) to apply and schedule and interview. If you applied and need to schedule an interview use this link to do so (www.cfairr.as.me). I’d love the opportunity to get to work with you!
If you have already interviewed please complete your onboarding documents as soon as possible and let William or Dominik know if you are having trouble. Myself or another leader will be sure to get you help.
Secondly, there are few insurance items to note:
In order to have health insurance coverage starting on April 1st you MUST complete your onboarding documents by April 1st. I highly recommend having this complete by Friday the 28th of March to ensure a buffer time.
All team members who are designated as fulltime and consistently work at least 32 hours weekly will be eligible for an insurance contribution according to their position in the restaurant.
All full-time team member positions employer contribution will be $325 monthly. Leadership positions contributions will be emailed individually.
You will have one month from April 1st to complete enrollment in a chosen health plan via the Livewell Benefits portal.
Livewell will contact you via email and or text within 10 days of transition to facilitate enrollment. I will share information regarding a way to expedite that additionally.
Please use the buttons below to access more info regarding insurance
Third, please note that there will be a transition week grace period for a few policies that may vary between Inc.’s handbook and the new handbook. Specifically, the meal break discount will continue as will breaks for 5 hours shifts until April 7th. However, all breaks will be unpaid beginning April 1st. Employees will need to “clock out” for breaks at that time. Any other policies differences in question will be at the discretion of the shift manager until April 7th.
Fourth, there will be a Sunday meeting hosted in the restaurant on April 6th from 2:30pm until 4pm. It will be STRONGLY recommended that all employees attend if at all possible. It will be a paid event. I will likely never do another Sunday “Meeting” again as I know that is important time off. However, this once will allow me to share important information, answer questions, and address concerns.
Thank you for all you do for the business and community. I’m looking forward to working with each other you!
Steven
